I&#8217;m busy with snacks for the super bowl party. The kids love peanuts, dried cherries and chocolate chips for an easy mix.  I also made the cherry dumplings with 2 cans of cherries and shortening instead of butter.  This recipe seems to be fail proof.  Of course we served it warm with a small scoops of vanilla ice cream&#8212;great.  Eat those cherries!</p>
