Life is just a Bowl Full of Cherries!

I wish, this year we are feeling that it is more a bowl full of pits! Our disappointment with the crop failure is now a reality and we are learning to deal with it. Farmers are an optimistic group and we bouncing back after our emotional spring. Here is how we see the year shaping up.
Sweet Cherries—Small pockets here and there for our markets. No u-pick this year. We may supplement by buying some.
Tart Cherries—-None
Balaton Tart Cherries—-Some we hope. We may pit these for our freezer.
Apricots—None
Peaches—-Few here and there. No u-pick
Nectarines–Few probably no u-pick
Apples—Some!!!! Will have to wait and see on u-pick
Pears and Plums— not too good
GOOD NEWS lots of raspberries! Sweet corn! Pickles! Squash!
I know this, we are ready to make this a good year despite the crop!! The King Family
