Apples for Labor Day Weekend!

Today was an exciting day! We got the first few apples in- Zestar, Paula Red, and Sansa apples! We all enjoy that first big crunch of the season. The apples will be here to stay. Gingergolds should start sometime after Labor Day and many more varieties to follow, including everyone’s favorite– Honeycrisp.

Peach season is here in full swing! Our u-pick peaches are coming to a close (I know it has come and gone far too quickly) but our markets are filled with them! All the Red Haven peaches turned on at once so we had to pick most of them off the trees before they became over ripe. Our half bushel price is $22. Nectarines acted the same way so we have lots of those in our markets as well. We have soft, ready to eat nectarines for only $1!

We still have apricots available in both of our markets. Pickling cucumbers and slicing cucumbers are here and we have lots of them available! Our markets are also filled with fresh Michigan produce.

We will have raspberry u-pick available for the weekend. Just remember, we have ever bearing raspberries so they will be here through the fall!
