The Zestar and Gingergold trees are loaded with apples for fun and easy picking. Gingergolds have a big crunch, bold sweet flavor with a zingy finish. Zestars taste tangy with a sweet tart flavor that’s accompanied by a nice bite. We also have Sansa apples in the markets. From the Gala family, the Sansa is on the sweet side of the spectrum. I always love a Gingergold after eating lots of wonderful soft fruits all summer long. It is nice to get the first big crunch of the fall.
