Apple Days 2026 | Apple Picking & Cider | King Orchards

Apple Days at King Orchards is a two-weekend celebration of the apple harvest in Antrim County, Northern Michigan. The first weekend runs Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, from 9am-4pm, at our farm on M-88 in Central Lake.
Just about every variety, all at once
This is the one weekend of the year when nearly every apple we grow is ready at the same time. That makes it the best chance to taste your way through the orchard and find the variety you actually want to take home by the bushel. Honeycrisp, McIntosh, Gala, Empire and more, each one a little different.
If you’re stocking up, ask us which ones keep. Honeycrisp stored in a cold fridge will still be good eating next spring.
Apple picking in Northern Michigan
Our u-pick orchard is open both days of Apple Days weekend, along with the farm stand for anyone who’d rather skip the ladder. Bags and bushel boxes are available when you arrive. The rows are an easy walk, so bring the kids and take your time. Early October is the beginning of Fall Colors, which makes the drive out as good as the destination.
Fresh cider, pumpkins and fall on the farm
Fresh-pressed apple cider is ready, and it tastes like this time of year. You’ll also find pumpkins for carving, squash and gourds for the table, plus all the fall fun that comes with a working orchard in October.
Plan your visit
Apple Days is free to attend, and no tickets or reservations are needed.
