The crops are looking fantastic this year! We are looking forward to a great u-pick season!

At King Orchards, our harvest season begins with cherry u-pick and raspberries at the beginning of July and ends with u-pick apples in the fall. We strive to provide the best orchard u-pick experience possible, offering a wide range of u-pick fruit throughout the summer and fall months. Located in the heart of Michigan’s famed cherry growing region with hills over looking Torch Lake and Lake Michigan’s Grand Traverse Bay, there  are spectacular views throughout the orchard. We are just 35 minutes north of Traverse City and 45 minutes south of Petoskey, offering two farm markets for convenient pick your own fruit from practically anywhere in Northern Michigan. Our trees are specifically pruned to meet the needs of our u-pickers with easy to reach fruit for children and adults. When you pick your own fruit, you get to wander through our beautiful orchard that we are so proud of and see exactly where your fruit is coming from.
