Ingredients
1 quart of fresh apricots
1/3 cup crisco
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 1/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup of powdered sugar
Instructions
Blend crisco and sugar in large mixing bowl
Add egg and blend well
Add to mixer, alternating with milk
Blend well
Add vanilla
Pour into prepared pan (greased & flour 11×7 pyrex pan or 9″ deep cake pan)
Top with halved apricots
Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
When cool, dust with powdered sugar
