100% Balaton tart cherry concentrate is a great way to add all natural flavor to any beverage recipe. The fruit is grown on our own trees and from other neighboring farms around Northern Michigan. The Balaton tart cherry variety hails from Eastern Europe and is a sweeter, darker version of traditional Montmorency tart cherry. The slightly jammy but still tart flavor is very versatile. Used in beer, wine, liquor, cider, seltzer, kombucha, soda and more.

Packaged in a 5-gallon pail with a re-closable spout. The packaging is not aseptic, but the concentrate is pasteurized while being processed. 68 Brix concentrate is very stable and not a conducive environment to pathogens or spoilage, so it can be shipped at ambient temperature. Refrigerate for up to 6 months, or freeze for up to 2 years.
