Northern Spy Apple Juice Concentrate- 5 Gallon Pail

100% Northern Spy apple concentrate is a great way to add all natural flavor to any beverage recipe. At King Orchards we have always said “Spies for Pies!”. The hard and tart variety is an excellent baking apple, but also excellent concentrate for natural yet complex tart apple flavor. It is a punch of sweet and tart (tasting almost exactly like the Sweet Tart candy) that can be used as a flavoring or diluted and fermented as a cider base. Used in beer, wine, liquor, cider, seltzer, kombucha, soda and more.

Grown in Northern Michigan, the tree-ripened Spy apples were hand picked and the concentrate was made with the entire apple, rather than the bi-product of peels and cores like most apple concentrates.

Must be Refrigerated.

Packaged in a 5-gallon pail with a re-closable spout. The packaging is not aseptic, but the concentrate is pasteurized while being processed. 70 Brix concentrate is very stable and not a conducive environment to pathogens or spoilage, so it can be shipped at ambient temperature. Refrigerate for up to 6 months, or freeze for up to 2 years.
